Virginia Postrel came out to SF last Friday night to do a talk for the Pacific Research Institute.  She covered material from 2 of her books - the Future & Its Enemies and The Substance of Style.

Now I've been a fan of Postrel's for several years so there wasn't much she could say that would be of earthshattering significance but it was still cool to see / hear her up close & personal for a second time.   My GF snapped the following, somewhat blurry, flashless pict that's gotta be worth some geek cred in libertarian circles -
