Vinod's Blog Random musings from a libertarian, tech geek... |
|
Like many bloggers, I'm a news junkie and get my updates from many sources throughout the day. This morning's Sarin artillery shell is a big story and I did a quick check on how it was carried on some major news site. As of ~6:00 pm PST - FoxNews gives the story the front page treatment I think it deserves (including the prominent caveat - "more analysis of field test results needed") - ABCNews leads with the other important story, the death of the Head of the Iraqi Governing Council and how the "shocking loss" deals a "cruel blow" to peace in Iraq. Sarin is reduced to a scrolling news item and the first sub-bullet - CNN decided, however, that a Busy Hurricane season deserved it's top slot. The Sarin story was buried as a "related development" to the swearing in of a new Iraqi Governing Council leader.
I report, you decide. My hunch is that whatever your opinion of FoxNews - it's just been confirmed ![]() |
