Press Bias? Protest Rallies

Merde in France reports that the anti-war demonstrations there which have received international coverage consisted of a scant 10,000 demonstrators:

There were a bit more than 10,000 demonstrators throughout France to say 'no' to a possible war to disarm Irak. Normally, there are at least 100,000 demonstrators just for the 'defense' of French retirement plans. Choosing between the future of Irakiens or one's retirement plan seems to be the real problem facing France's selfish 'humanists'.

By contrast, buried in a story on protests in South Korea, LGF reports on the 40,000 pro-US military demonstrators

Also Sunday, about 40,000 people rallied at a Christian demonstration in downtown Seoul to support the U.S. military presence in South Korea and to condemn North Korea's suspected nuclear program.

Press coverage?   I think not.

Update: More protest numbers from around the world.

Update2:  Great picture! Found here
