After seeing this, I hate Nancy Pelosi even more and plan to do my bit to see that she doesn't get re-elected.  (Note to the public - Pelosi is an SF Whacko's dream - she'll never be dislodged from this little beacon of enlightenment by the Bay, but it doesn't mean I can't be angry at her)

U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said on Friday police raids on dozens of U.S. Wal-Mart stores in the search for illegal immigrants this week amounted to "terrorizing" workers.

Terrorizing?  God, can't you just FEEL how badly Pelosi seethes with the inner conviction that Bush / Ashcroft are just as bad as Bin Laden and Saddam?   

"We think there might be a better way to go about this because the fact is that it is against the law for the employer to hire these people so there should be more focus on the employer and less in these terrorizing raids," Pelosi said.

Yep, you heard it right - WAL-MART.    Pelosi chooses her words carefully but we know that her ilk cares little about silly legal distinctions about contracting, subcontractors and the like.    Somewhere out there, there's a rich white male who's the real reason this illegal alien is breaking the law.  It's society, not the individual who's at fault.

And where's our precious "impartial" press?  They can't WAIT to publish the "behind-the-scenes" expose that pulls together the puppet strings of power if the Right is concerned.   But with Pelosi, the source of her new found affection for "undocumented workers" is portrayed rather matter-of-factly:

Pelosi said the Wal-Mart raids showed the need to legalize undocumented workers in parts of the economy other than just the agricultural sector.

WTF?  Yep, that's the *real* root cause of our immigration and border security problems - the INS ain't legalizing undocumented workers fast enough.  Total BS.   As for Vicente Fox, his role is equally despicable -- VDH was so right when he described how much the Mexican power elite enjoyed their illegal alien constituency in the US.   Anything that gets 'em access to the corridors of Gringo power and lets 'em ride a moral high horse.   Funny how much they suddenly care about these poor folks when they're on the other side of the border.
