First, while doing some ego-surfing through my referrer logs... I found this tool that helps you track blogs that link to yours and vice versa.    Definitely accelerates the ego-surfing.

I'm pretty low on the totempole.

Second, a few months back, I wrote an article about the FanWing -- a new type of integrated propulsion / lift system for aircraft.   I still think it's so cool that individuals / small groups of inventors are out there making such fundamental contributions to a field that folks otherwise would consider "architecturally stable".
