A chilling internet video, which has been posted on YouTube, brands Becks, 32, and JT, 26, as criminal influences on young Muslims.

Snark aside, it's hard to find a purer example that it isn't a particular piece of foreign policy that's got them so riled up, but rather, the way we choose to live.   Where we see / allow "freedom", they see "licentiousness."  I argued a similar point back in 2004 using the celebrity of the day -

Britney Spears terrifies them but in a weird, oblique way, most Americans just can't understand and few of them can truly verbalize.

Same plot, different cast.  And with Britney's career going the way it is, they figured she wasn't a good icon anymore either.  ;-)
