Put up a review of the Substance of Style by Virginia Postrel in my Book Reviews section.   I attended Postrel's Book reading here in SF and it was interesting to see / hear her up close & personal given how many years I've been reading her material in Reason, books, NYT, and online.  

Overall, it's an interesting book but I was expecting a lot more.   It's got a bunch of good insights strung together with anecdote after anecdote that industrial design and aesthetics are reaching deeper and deeper into our everyday lives.
