Merry Christmas!  I had a great time @ a Christmas eve dinner party @ my sister & brother-in-law's place in North Houston.   Got a chance to exercise my domestic side a bit by helping 'em out with their x'mas party.    Perhaps more accurately, my little sister and I sorta took over their party.

I read Tyler Cowen's book Creative Destruction and put up a review.  In short, the book was OK.   It had a few insights on the nature of cross-cultural interactions as understood in economic exchange terms.   However, I felt like the book didn't quite live up to its potential and didn't provide enough analytical rigor despite being a subject that clamors for such treatment.

So, it's worth an examination if this is a particularly hot area of interest for you but otherwise, I'd just read my review and move on
