Went to Napa 2 weekends ago to celebrate a friend's bday and I really enjoyed a few picts I took from the famous Artesa Vineyards & Winery.   Mondavi might get all the press & be the #1 tourist destination but in my book, the scenery made Artesa far grander.   A few snaps -

Artesa is nestled near the top of some rolling hills in the Carneros district.

The views from up there are simply gorgeous - I *LOVED* the little red cabin and took almost a dozen snaps of it.

The top of the hill sported gorgeous sculture that beautifully integrated the surrounding natural scenery with dramatic man made art.   My little red cabin is in the far background here.
